I have been teaching for 4 years in middle school math and science, I have taught 6th,7th and 8th grade. In college I tutored college students in mathematics and tutored middle and elementary school students in mathematics. My current school has a study hall time and even though I teach science I do a lot of math tutoring and help during that hour of the school day. I have also taught a math intervention block for students who needed additional help with basic skills needed prior to taking pre-algebra. I love teaching and working one on one with students and that is why I became a teacher. There is nothing more rewarding then seeing the "light bulb' go off for a student who finally understands a concept they have been struggling with.
